Help
No matter what I do I can't fix Belladonna Cove. I got all the files back to how they were before I ever messed with any of them and yet even when making a new game folder the terrain still gets messed up and crazy. Also, my computer is refusing to let me uninstall Apartment Life. I try to do it and nothing ever comes up. I honestly have no idea what to do to fix this mess that I don't even know how I made.

*sigh*

I decided to start a new folder in order to get Belladonna Cove to spawn in order to use that to fix my uberhood. However, instead of there being Belladonna Cove and whatever neighborhood comes with Freetime, there was "Magic" and "Hobbies". I started up "magic" and it had the same weird terrain that my Belladonna Cove has ended up with. I tried to restore my backups to before I changed those folders around to end up with clean templates but I didn't have any luck with that. I am probably going to have to uninstall and reinstall Apartment Life and Freetime in order to get my neighborhoods back to how they should be. I have no idea how I messed them up so badly, but hopefully when I try to do clean templates again I won't have the same strange problem. Thanks again for your guys' help!

I went to play my uberhood (it opens as Belladonna Cove for the main hood) in order to take a break from my rebuild project and when I entered the hood I saw the strangest thing. The terrain is completely messed up. Some houses are covered in terrain and I cannot see them and other lots are "flooded". I have no idea how this happened or why. I even opened a backup of the neighborhood and it did the same thing. How do I fix this?
Things to note: I recently made it so that my neighborhoods would be clean when I created one... could this have something to do with it? I thought it didn't affect existing neighborhoods. Also, after changing things so that my hoods would spawn without characters already in them my older hoods have the screen of "creating hobbies" when I load them for the first time. This is the only hood whose terrain has been weird though.

I am working on rebuilding Canterbury Cove and I forgot to setup clean templates on my new computer so the new Canterbury Cove came with all of the sim bin sims. Is it safe to delete them or do I need to kill them off and then delete their graves?

Edit: I decided to just start the whole 'hood over again. *sigh*

I am having some issues with Sims 2 that I have never experienced before. It is hard to explain but the screen gets very pixelated in places and strange things happen like the sims' hair sort of disappears. If I move the camera around it stops but as soon as the camera is still it happens again. It doesn't happen the whole time that I play, only sometimes. It wouldn't be such a huge deal if I wasn't taking pictures but it is making taking pictures very hard. I am not sure, but I think it might have something to do with the fact that the Albrecht family has a pool because it doesn't do it really on any other lots and it only seems to happen when I go over to the pool - but not always.
Does anyone know any way that I could fix this? Everything else runs smoothly so I don't understand why it would be doing this.

Edited to add pictures to better illustrate what I am talking about:

The Lieman family had quickly outgrown their old little house and so a move to a new, much bigger house, was a much welcome idea. With all of their businesses flourishing, price was not really a factor in deciding what to build.

I really enjoyed doing this last year. It was a lot of fun and made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. If you have not done this before, you should give it a try. Also, don't forget to comment on other simmers' posts!

Here it is.

Happy Holidays everyone!
